From Ramses to Mount Sinai: A Journey Illuminated

When the light turns on, the route through the wilderness begins to emerge.

This backlit artwork follows the Children of Israel leaving Egypt and moving from Ramses toward Mount Sinai. Instead of showing one isolated biblical scene, it brings many moments together into a single visual journey.

The eye moves across the work as if following a map: Ramses, the wilderness, the sea, the places where Israel stopped and continued, and finally Mount Sinai. Each illuminated line belongs to another stage in the transformation from slavery toward freedom and covenant.

The story includes Kriat Yam Suf, the Splitting of the Sea, and the manna in the wilderness. In the supported AR experience, these episodes can continue beyond the physical artwork.

The backlighting emphasizes the route, names and smaller elements, creating a strong contrast between darkness and warm light.
