An illuminated architectural vision of the Beit HaMikdash brings the memory of Jerusalem’s sacred center into the home.
The design presents the Temple complex through fine architectural lines, gates, courtyards and the elevated central sanctuary. Rather than claiming one exact archaeological reconstruction, the artwork offers a visual interpretation of the Beit HaMikdash, the Holy Temple in Jerusalem.
The Temple stood at the center of Jewish worship and national life. It was associated with the Avodah, the pilgrimage festivals of Pesach, Shavuot and Sukkot, and the idea of Jerusalem as a place of prayer.
When the warm LED light passes through the engraved acrylic, the architecture becomes more visible and the structure appears almost to rise from the darkness.
A compact illuminated work about Jerusalem, prayer, memory and the enduring place of the Beit HaMikdash in Jewish consciousness.
