The Mishkan: From the Courtyard to the Holy of Holies

The artwork brings together the sacred world of the Mishkan, from the outer courtyard to its most important vessels.

At the entrance appear the Mizbeach HaChitzon, the outer altar, and the Kiyor, the laver used by the Kohanim before the service.

Inside, the composition reveals the Menorah, the Shulchan Lechem HaPanim, the Table of the Showbread, and the Aron HaBrit, the Ark of the Covenant. A Kohen engaged in the service adds a living human presence to the sacred scene.

Rich red tones and intricate white details give the work the character of an illuminated stained-glass window.
