Dan · A story shaped by light
The Dan stained-glass work changes with the light throughout the day. Its color and symbol speak of judgment, clarity, and the strength to stand for what matters, allowing the story to become part of the room itself.
An imposing pair of scales gives visual form to Jacob’s blessing: “Dan shall judge his people” (Genesis 49:16). A lion motif and densely worked ornament occupy the center of a carefully balanced composition. Blue, turquoise, and white create an atmosphere of clarity and measured judgment. The scales are the artist’s interpretation of Dan’s name and blessing, rather than a claim that Scripture prescribes this exact emblem. The Land of Israel is a shared motif throughout the Tribes collection. The stained-glass palette is an artistic choice, not the colors of the High Priest’s breastplate.
